O.k.,
I have decided as a rule, partly because I am reading the "elements of style" by StrunK and White and brilliantly Illustrated by my favorite Artist Maira Kalman I might add, to start to keep this blog BRIEF!!
I know It may be a stretch for me, because I love to ramble on and on.
but I think mostly you come here for pictures, and inspiration not voluminous amounts of words.
SO instead of chewing up this blog with silly little stories, I am going to try and keep things to a minimum.
now I will still tell stories that are too hilarious NOT to share, but my goal is to be brief, and well, more succinct.
maybe this will enable me to post more frequently, who knows.
anyways, that is my goal for today!
whoo-hoo!
Funny how that was The Longest running explanation now wasn't it?
Strunk would be rolling around in his grave! ;)
anyways!
without further dribble...
here are some fun things we have gotten on to the shop THIS week!
I am especially fond of the book
"I was a really good mom before I had kids!" hilarious!
beautiful paper products
itty bitty precious note cards
cool little camera shaped photo albums...
french journals
plus we have gotten in a fresh shipment of liquid french soaps, and some of the great French lotion that has been on backorder for awhile.
I have also started working on some new things, in between shuttling kids here and there...
some kooky dolls,
kids soaps,
and Pillows!
Art fair is coming up soon, so i am working frantically behind the scenes to prepare for that!
So on that note, I will wrap this up!
how did I do?
I know, I know, still a mile long, but at least it wasn't as bad as usual!
a girl has to start somewhere right!? :)
have a great fourth of July weekend everyone!
the shop will be closed this saturday so we can celebrate the country's birthday, but we will re-open again on monday!
yay!
XOXOXO
Oh, I liked your rambling posts! But if being brief helps you out, then that's good too!

Please don't stop rambling! I get such a kick out of what is on your mind. I am also very inspired by your pictures. Thanks for your blog! It makes me smile.

What? Oh no you don't - I LOVE LOVE LOVE reading your blogs - especially the long ones! I love the pictures too!!!! It's like getting a magazine in the mail - fun to look at and read! You could charge $4.95 at the counter and I would still read your blog!
Ok - so keep that up. Also I have that book- I spotted it in the bookstore year or two ago, when my son was a little younger... I was feeling incredibly guilty about something (who knows, I probably said No to cookies) but anyway, that book called out my name - its a great read. Love all the other cute finds in your store - I wish you weren't a million miles away I would be in there everyday! Ok so happy 4th - and keep up the long blogs! :) - Kim

I love your long posts! You have so much energy when you tell your stories, that's part of the fun of coming here! It's not JUST about the pictures...But the pictures are great, so don't be cutting those down, too!
Love the new stuff in your store and your latest creations. Wish you were around my neck of the woods so I could see in person!

Oh no! I love reading your posts! I always have a cup of tea beside me, and thoroughly enjoy taking a little time for myself with your blog. Hope you don't change a thing :) Great pics too. Your kooky dolls are so fun! I just finished my very first doll (head)! I just posted a pic of it.

Catherine, I feel like I go on and on sometimes, so I know what you're talking about, but I have to tell you that I love your personality, and I love how you talk about how you're feeling and what you're thinking . . . it never seems to me that you're going on and on! I only think that when people aren't interesting. :D Ha. You're always funny and insightful, and I love your words as well as the photos!

I would really love one of camera photo albums for my daughter. Do you ship those? How much are they? Is there a different website for this kind of transaction?
