I took a trip there yesterday and had a ball!
I can honestly say I was in my pajamas for the entire day. I only put on jeans towards the end of the day so we could take the kids for a bike ride, and walk the dog....but then I was back in my jammies 45 minutes later. I kid you not!
I did nothing yesterday but catch up on reading other peoples blogs, surfed the net, drank endless cups of coffee, and watched my kids tear through their easter goods and make several messes which I did not even pick up!
Look at how cute that little playmobile rabbit set is with the red
dotty mushroom! I don't care if that lies around, it makes me happy! now all of those other little piles....
oh, those piles are still there, and I don't even care! it was great!
I had no family over, did not cook a ham, or any of the traditional easter fare, and i was O.K. about it all!
I did start to tidy my studio a little later in the afternoon, because after SO much laziness even I start to get a little antsy, and just feel the need to move and do SOMETHING.
Can I tell you I can't do a thing with out making a mess.
I wish I could be one of those "TIDY" organized crafters, but I am not.
My creativity comes in explosions, and my workplaces reflect this.....
So you can imagine all of the piles I have been trying to contain after my marathon craftapalooza lately.
but that just lasted only about an hour, then I was back to making more messes.
I had my husband pull out the Scroll saw I got for Christmas and had him cut out some shapes for me,
because I HATE to admit this, but I am terrified of that thing! I know it's MY POWERTOOL, but I swear, I will cut my own finger off, and it WILL fly up into the air and blind me while I am at it. that's the way my mind works.
SO of course my husband is only TOO happy to oblige, because you know, it's a powertool, and those aren't for girls, that's MAN territory. rarrrr. (he doesn't say this out loud mind you, but i know he secretly thinks it)
WHatever! I have to conquer this fear quick people!
ANyhoo, he cut out some shapes for me
and I am working on them....this is only a start, but I am thinking this scroll saw and I will become
great friends!
Well, It has been a WILD day at the shop, so incredibly busy I can't believe it! it's MONDAY!
SO this will be brief, but I will share more with you tommorow,
my husband is taking me and the kids out to dinner tonight to have some mexican food and listen to Mariachi music, he knows I love it. what a sweet, sweet, man.
as always, thanks for checking in!

I just found your blog and I love it! I remember the days when my children were little and the Easter baskets were filled with cute toys. Now the youngest is a teenager and I put clothes in his. He loves clothes. Don't feel sorry for him. LOL
I just wanted to tell you, that if you can sew, you will love your scroll saw. When I had good eyes, I played with my scroll saw all the time. You will have fun with it. I promise I have all my fingers still. LOL

this sounds like the PERFECT day to me... enjoying your little ones and crafting too!
Your blog is fab! I'll be adding it to my favorites at scrapsadaisy, my own little corner of the net!
Can't wait to come back and see what else you've been up to!
